Year 5 students embarked on their very first residential trip to the stunning Karpaz, creating unforgettable memories together! Balci Plaza, a tradition at ESK, cherished for over 15 years, once again provided a delightful experience rich with learning and enjoyment.

Over the course of the trip, students had the chance to participate in a variety of activities that fostered both learning and camaraderie. The adventure began with exciting environmental activities that led the children to the beautiful beach and lush forests. They were immersed in nature, exploring different habitats and understanding the vital importance of our environment. Plus, they enjoyed a special visit to the ESK Farm, lovingly named by Mr Balci himself! With each exploration, they were not only absorbing knowledge but also nurturing a deeper appreciation for the world around them.

The creative side of the trip flourished through art and design-based activities. Students drew inspiration from the breathtaking surroundings, capturing what they saw and even using natural elements to create unique artistic pieces. But beyond the educational aspect, this trip was all about building bonds and friendships. Through collaboration, teamwork, and shared experiences, our Year 5 students formed connections that we hope will last a lifetime.

Residential visits at ESK are perfect for developing personal, social, and teamwork skills, paving the way for a supportive and friendly school community. The Year 5 residential trip was not just about learning but also about creating lasting memories and strengthening friendships.

Here’s to many more adventures like this one that inspire our students to explore, learn, and grow!
