What a remarkable day for our Primary students as they participated in our very first Nurture and Nourish Day at ESK!

This special occasion proved to be a perfect opportunity to disconnect from screens and reconnect with nature and each other, emphasizing our commitment to wellbeing, reflection, and connection. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s essential for children to take a breath, step away from their busy schedules, and celebrate their achievements. That’s precisely what we aimed for during this memorable day.
The students kicked off the day with a serene morning picnic in the beautiful ESK gardens. Imagine the laughter and joy as mixed year groups gathered to enjoy fresh air, delicious snacks, and delightful conversations. It was heartwarming to witness younger and older students bonding, fostering a sense of community and support across ages.
Highlighting the importance of teamwork, students engaged in various team-building activities alongside their dedicated teachers. The camaraderie was palpable, as everyone worked together to tackle challenges while having fun.
We were also honored to have our very own mindfulness coach, Mrs. Luukinen, guide our students in mindfulness practices. Through her calm demeanor and insightful teachings, she helped students cultivate a more mindful approach to their daily lives.

As we wrap up this eventful day, let’s remember to keep nurturing these connections we’ve sparked. The bonds we create today will lay the foundation for a more compassionate and understanding tomorrow. Feeling happy and proud, we can’t wait to plan more experiences that bring our students together in meaningful ways!
Here’s to more days of connection and celebration at ESK!
