ESK Houses Unite for an Epic Annual Sports Day Showdown!

Our students in both Primary and Secondary school enjoyed an exhilarating day at the annual Sports Day. Year groups united, donning their House Colours, to participate in a variety of sports events, including hurdles, 100m sprints, egg and spoon race, and relays. This year was particularly noteworthy, as teachers and parents joined in too, to compete in some of the races. Another exciting Sports day added to the school's history.

ESK's House System is an integral part of student life at ESK, fostering values of integrity, pride, and inclusivity. Upon joining the school, students are assigned to one of four houses—Hilarion, Othello, Caretta, and Alasia—each named after significant cultural and historical elements of Cyprus. This system encourages camaraderie across different year groups, enabling the entire school community to engage in inter-house competitions.

Now, the anticipation is certainly building - which House will be declared the winner at the end of the year.
