STEAM EDUCATION in PRIMARY

STEAM education is a valuable addition to the curriculum at ESK.  As an integrated approach to learning, it combines the arts with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), while encouraging a more hands-on approach. We believe it will help our students develop and improve their problem-solving, coding and design skills.

In class, students use their creativity, critical - thinking and teamwork skills to design and programme their very own 3D models, using Lego Education technology.

A Celebration of their Work - FIRST® LEGO® League

The FIRST® LEGO® League exhibition is the world's biggest STEAM education event that takes place in more than 110 countries with more than 700.000 students involved, and ESK is just one of the locations where it is hosted. Each year, it is an opportunity for students to inquire into a specific theme, such as Renewable Energy, and use their creativity,  programming and presentation skills to share their ideas with the wide community.

Many schools deliver the British curriculum, but few enhance it. At ESK, we offer a fulfilling and diverse co-curriculum, that goes beyond the UK National Curriculum.
