Re-Plant. Re-Imagine. Re-Build.

We are excited to announce ESK's participation in a new initiative on the Island.

Over recent years, there has been a saddening increase in deforestation, as more and more buildings are developing on the island, and century old Olive trees are just one of the plants being cut down. Olive trees are an integral part of Cyprus' culture and heritage, and has a extra special place at ESK. Not t only is it a symbol on our school emblem, but it also represents peace and wisdom, important aspects in ESK's values. Not to mention, we have many Olive trees dating back to the 1800s, located around campus already!

For their A-Level SECA project, Year 12 students, Eran and Sanem have introduced a new initiative to plant 1000 olive trees over 5 years, that's 200 a year!

We are delighted to share with you the planting of the first olive tree, by our Founders, Mr Fehim Nevzat and Mrs Bilge Nevzat.

The Initiative begins with the planting of the first Olive Tree Sapling...

The Re-plantation initiative continues..

What an amazing turn-out.....For the last two days of term before the Easter break, students, staff and parents all showed their support, by collecting a free olive tree sapling to either plant at home or in the gardens of our spacious campus.

Join ESK in the Olive Tree re-plantation initiative. Let’s come together to fight deforestation!
